Cara is the newest member of Ivory Tower’s The Crew Motorfest. She’s an AI meant to serve as a guide for the game. Cara is extremely polite but is also often talking about everything you do within the game. Here’s how to turn off Cara AI in The Crew Motorfest.

There is a lot to discover in The Crew Motorfest, from the 600-plus vehicles, 15 playlists, and the brand-new map of Hawaii. However, players feel as though Cara’s motor mouth never runs out of fuel.

An AI companion isn’t particularly new to racing games, and it is one of many things The Crew Motorfest has in common with Forza Horizon, which has Anna to guide you.

Here’s how to turn off Cara AI in The Crew Motorfest.

How to disbale Cara AI in The Crew Motorfest

There is no legitimate option for turning off Cara AI in The Crew Motorfest, however you can turn Cara off if you have a controller with a speaker built-in, like DualSense from PlayStation.

To turn off Cara in The Crew Motorfest, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the “Options” menu in The Crew Motorfest
  2. Head to “Audio & Language”
  3. Scroll until you find the “Controller Audio” option
  4. Turn it on
  5. Set the “Volume” just below it to 0
  6. Turn on the “CARA” option underneath.

This change makes Cara speak through the controller’s speaker instead of your monitor or TV. Since you’ve turned the speaker “Volume” to 0, you’ll hear nothing at all.
