Ship building can be regarded as one of the best and most immersive features in Starfield. Although it can be really fun to explore the various options and components to build an entire Starship, it can get a bit complicated. Luckily, a player has found a secret way to make the process much quicker and easier.

Although Starfield is just in its infancy right now, it can already be regarded as one of the biggest modern-day RPGs. With immense exploration opportunities and immersive quests, the game is already the biggest Bethesda launch to date.

One of the most popular features in the game is ship building, so a player has found a great way to make the process much easier for others who are finding the menu overwhelming.

Simple Starfield trick makes ship building much quicker

Starfield player, JBrettz on Reddit has posted that clicking “LT+RT+A” on your controller “when hovering over a connection” will show you all the parts that can fit in it. This is bound to make the ship building process much easier and quicker.

The ship building is a bit complicated on a controller due to a lack of key bindings. The game apparently does not tell you the exact key bindings for attaching various components. However, this is not the same for PC/Mouse and Keyboard, as the G button is the way to go.

This secret shortcut has helped a fair amount of players which is quite evident in the post’s comment section. A player also has mentioned how Starfield is lacking in tutorials indicating that the tip is something that should have been mentioned in the menu.

Starfield is one of those games which is meant to be played for years. Just like Bethesda’s Fallout and The Elder Scrolls series, it seems like everyday people are finding new stuff about the game which seem to make everything much more convenient.
