Pokemon Sleep is the latest Pokemon App on the market, but there are some other functions for the app besides controlling your sleep routine and collecting sleepy Pokemon. Here’s a guide on how to add friends in Pokemon Sleep.

The Pokemon Sleep App was launched on July 19 for mobile devices, and there has been a ton of excitement surrounding it since launch. From registering weird noises to concerning community members with fire safety protocols, the App does it all.

However, many are wondering if you can add friends in Pokemon Sleep. Here’s all you need to know to create your own Pokemon Sleep Friend List, and all the things you can do with them.

How to add friends in Pokemon Sleep

In Pokemon Sleep, you can add friends to your contact list using these 4 quick steps:

  1. Open the Main Menu and press on “Research Community.”
  2. Press on the “+” icon in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Choose one of the available methods to add your friend. Friends can be added by scanning a QR Code, through Researcher ID input, or through Facebook.
  4. Once you have found your friend, press Add, to send a request.

Pokemon Sleep friends limit explained

Pokemon Sleep has a limit on how many contacts you can add to your Friend List. The limit is set to 50 Friends, at least, for the moment. Currently, there’s no more information about this limit being expanded in the near future. But we will keep you updated in case new information comes to light.

How to change Privacy Settings in Pokemon Sleep

In the event that you don’t want to share your Pokemon Sleep information with your Friend List, you can always toggle this option “off” using your Privacy Settings.

To do that, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Main Menu and press on “Research Community.”
  2. In the bottom right corner of the menu, tap “Sharing Options.”
  3. You can enable or disable the “sharing” settings that way.
