After the many Pokemon Go celebrations in March, players are now enjoying the next big event in the mobile game. Spring into Spring is live in Pokemon Go with two new debuts alongside new costumed Pokemon, a Collection Challenge, and much more.

Pokemon Go Spring into Spring event dates

The Spring into Spring event is taking place in Pokemon Go from Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 10 AM to Monday, April 10, 2023, at 8 PM local time.

Pokemon Go Spring into Spring Cutiefly & Ribombee debuts

The Pokemon Go Spring into Spring event features the debuts of Cutiefly and its evolution, Ribombee.

While Cutiefly will appear in the wild, players will have to spend 50 Cutiefly Candy to evolve it into Ribombee.

The Spring into Spring event features new Avatar items.

Pokemon Go Spring into Spring event bonuses

These bonuses will be active during the Pokemon Go Spring into Spring event:

  • 2x Hatch Candy.
  • 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period.
  • Lucky Eggs activated during the event period will last for one hour.

Pokemon Go Spring into Spring event Collection Challenge

There is a Collection Challenge players can complete during the Spring into Spring event in Pokemon Go. Trainers that complete the Spring into Spring Collection Challenge will earn XP, Stardust, and a Lucky Egg.

During the Spring into Spring event in Pokemon Go, the following Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild:

  • Pikachu adorned with cherry blossoms
  • Jigglypuff
  • Eevee adorned with cherry blossoms
  • Marill
  • Whismur
  • Buneary wearing a flower crown
  • Bunnelby
  • Cutiefly
  • Chansey wearing a flower crown
  • Togetic wearing a flower crown

Pokemon Go Spring into Spring event Field Research encounters

The following Pokemon will be available to encounter when players complete Field Research tasks during the Spring into Spring event:

  • Pikachu adorned with cherry blossoms
  • Chansey wearing a flower crown
  • Eevee adorned with cherry blossoms
  • Togetic wearing a flower crown

Lucky trainers might even encounter shiny ones.

In addition to these new costumed Pokemon, players can also find Eevee and all its evolutions adorned with cherry blossoms.

For the duration of the Spring into Spring event, the following Pokemon will hatch from 2 Km Eggs:

  • Eevee adorned with cherry blossoms
  • Pichu adorned with cherry blossoms
  • Togepi wearing a flower crown
  • Azurill
  • Happiny wearing a flower crown
  • Munchlax
  • Riolu
  • Cutiefly
