Pokemon Go is hosting new Raid Days for both Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon, so here’s everything you need to know about these events, including dates, bonuses, and more.

Pokemon Go started its World of Wonders season with many announcements, and players are eager to catch ’em all in upcoming events. Niantic also revealed Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon are coming back to Raids for a limited time, so you won’t want to miss it.

These Legendaries are some of the strongest attackers in the game, meaning most trainers want to catch them to get an edge in Pokemon Go’s PvP and PvE battles.

Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Raid Day events featuring Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon in Pokemon Go.

Pokemon Go Primal Kyogre & Groudon Raid Day dates & times

Pokemon Go Raid Day: Primal Kyogre takes place on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM (local time), while Raid Day: Primal Groudon will be on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM (local time).

Yes, both shiny Primal Kyogre and shiny Primal Groudon are available in Pokemon Go.

Pokemon Go Raid Day: Primal Kyogre event bonuses

The following bonuses will be active during the Raid Day: Primal Kyogre event in Pokemon Go:

  • Primal Kyogre will appear more frequently in Raids.
  • Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
  • Increased chance of encountering shiny Kyogre.
  • The Remote Raid limit will be increased to 20 from Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 5 PM to Sunday, March 17, 2024, at 8 PM PT / 11 PM ET / 4 AM GMT (March 18).

Additionally, players can purchase a ticket for $5.00 USD (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency) that grants the following bonuses:

  • Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
  • Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles.
  • 50% more XP from Raid Battles.
  • 2x Stardust from Raid Battles.

These bonuses will be effective on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 2 PM to 10:00 PM (local time).

Pokemon Go Raid Day: Primal Groudon event bonuses

Pokemon Go players will be able to enjoy the following bonuses during the Raid Day: Primal Groudon event:

  • Primal Groudon will appear more frequently in Raids.
  • Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
  • Increased chance to encounter shiny Groudon.
  • The Remote Raid limit will be increased to 20 from Friday, March 22, 2024, at 5 PM, to Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 8 PM PT / 11 PM ET / 4 AM GMT (March 24).

Trainers can also get a premium ticket for $5.00 USD (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency) to get the following additional bonuses:

  • Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
  • Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles.
  • 50% more XP from Raid Battles.
  • 2x Stardust from Raid Battles.

These bonuses will be effective on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 2 PM to 10:00 PM (local time).
