Pokemon Go players very pleased with upcoming Inventory and Storage upgrades
Niantic/The Pokemon CompanyA recent data mine suggests that Pokemon Go players will get an increased maximum number of items and Pokemon. The community is overjoyed and celebrating the news about the Inventory and Storage upgrades.
The main issue with Pokemon Go‘s play mechanics is that you always need to ‘collect’ things: Pokemon, Items, Evolution Stones, Rare Candy, and others. So, it’s no wonder why Inventory and Pokemon Storage space has always been a problem for new and veteran players alike.
When the game was released, the maximum amount of items you could carry in your Inventory was set to 350, and the maximum Pokemon Storage space was 1000. Over the years, these numbers have increased significantly. But it’s still not enough, not at least for regular players.
But a recent datamine shared by PokeMiners has confirmed that another Inventory and Storage increase is coming soon. This has made the community celebrate, even before the official announcement has been made.
The number of items and Pokemon you can carry will increase by 500
According to the source, the total amount of Inventory and Storage will be increased by 500 units. That would make a total of 5800 maximum items in your inventory and a total of 6800 Pokemon you can have in your Storage.
This news has made the community sparkle with joy, even more so with so many new events coming. Players were quick to express their joy, saying things like: “Finally!” and “That’s awesome.” Another one stated: “More storage in time for Go Fest.”
One of the community members agreed, saying: “Never thought I would need more Pokemon and bag space, yet, here we are.”
And the truth is, with so many new content drops being released for Pokemon Go, Inventory and Storage space is never too much. The thing is, though, you need to purchase the Inventory and Storage upgrades fwith PokeCoins in the in-game store.
Each Inventory and Storage upgrade costs 200 PokeCoins, which in turn cost around $2 USD each. So, in order to purchase every upgrade available, you would be spending around $97 USD to fully upgrade to Max both Inventory space and Storage Box space.
