Pokemon Go player’s one-day shiny haul is so “broken” they thought it was a glitch

Whether it’s Pokemon Go or a mainline game like Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, catching shinies is undoubtedly one of the favorite things to do for the Pokemon community.
These special species have extremely low encounter rates, making them a prized asset for fans as they grind hours to get even one shiny Pokemon.
Now, a lucky Pokemon Go trainer has left fans mind-blown by catching not one, not two, but 15 shinies in just a day, leading to many comparing the player’s feat with winning a lottery ticket.
The trainer, named ‘CombinationOk5608’ on Reddit, posted their haul of 15 shinies in a single day and wrote: “I Think the Game is Broken.”
The post captured the attention of several Pokemon Go fans, who couldn’t believe the OP’s catches and applauded them for their achievement: “Congrats” and “Can mine be broken as well? I need it to be broken like yours lol.”
Another wrote: “I got 5 the other day for the first time ever and thought that was crazy. This is insanity.”
Users in the comments section were particularly impressed as many of them had caught little to no shinies recently.
“Weeks since I have spotted one. It was at last Community Day. Wild ones: not this year,” one user wrote, before another added, “I haven’t had a shiny since New Year… not even a Bronzor or a Sneasel,” referring to two of the ‘easier’ shinies to find in the mobile game.
As others joked that the OP should “buy a lottery ticket,” some fans couldn’t stop gushing about some of the OP’s rare grabs, with comments such as, “Bruh the SHELMET THO” and “Nice Tailow.”
Trainers should note that the OP also caught some full-odds shinies, that is, those with unboosted shiny rates, making the haul all the more impressive.
