Finding the Galarian Bird trio in Pokemon Go is never easy and trainers use the Daily Incense each day with hopes of seeing them spawn. But a player may have discovered a way to guarantee these Legendary encounters, as many players have found the method a success.

The Legendary Galarian Birds are perhaps the rarest and most sought-after species in Pokemon Go. These Pokemon have a mere 0.3% catch rate but with the Master Ball in tow, a player can get a guaranteed catch.

That said, it is extremely difficult to find these Legendaries as they can only be encountered through Daily Incense, with little to no chances of them spawning.

Now, there’s a surprising Pokemon Go trick revealed by a trainer that seemingly guarantees an encounter with at least one of the Galarian Birds when the Daily Incense is used in a particular way.

The trick started doing the rounds after a Reddit user named ‘AllEyezOnMe05’ made a post titled: “So I seen someone mention to try using your daily incense at XX:57 o’clock for better chances at the birds, and my first spawn was one,” while sharing a screengrab of a Galarian Moltres encounter in Pokemon Go.

The post caught the attention of many Pokemon Go players, with most asking for the exact details of the time stamp mentioned by the OP.

A user asked: “Do you start right at :57 on the dot? Or does it only have to be active at that time? E.g start at :50 and still be active at :57?” to which the OP replied: “I didn’t go too crazy with time specifics. It was just 4:57 pm on my phone when I used the Incense & then Moltres popped up.”

With the timing clear, many trainers gave the trick a shot and it had mixed results, as some people reported not encountering the Galarian Birds. However, a good number of players had the said encounter, giving at least some degree of legitimacy to the trick.

“I tested your theory and a Zapdos popped up immediately,” a fan wrote before another added: “Same! I tried it today and Zapdos spawned! Will be continuing to do this!”

You should note that the Daily Incense cannot be used at 11:57 PM as the 15-minute duration of the item will also include the next day.

While there is no confirmation if the trick guarantees an encounter, there is always a chance since it seemed to have worked for some fans, as one stated: “I guess it’s not guaranteed but just increases your chances then.”
