Pokemon Go players fed up as “trash” spawns keep getting worse every Season
NianticAs the Timeless Travels Season of Pokemon Go nears its conclusion, several players have highlighted a worrying trend that they’ve observed for many months now.
The Timeless Travels Season in Pokemon Go proved to be a thrilling extravaganza as it introduced several new Pokemon from the Hisui region, hosted powerful Legendaries in Raids, and also featured a challenging Go Battle League.
While all of these were celebrated by the community, several fans have made a rather interesting observation during Timeless Travels, which seems to have been happening in previous Seasons as well.
It all started when a Reddit user named ‘Constant_Mulberry_23’ made a post captioned: “Am I crazy or do the season spawns get worse and worse as the season goes on?” and added: “Week 1 I was finding far better mons. Now it’s 90% this rubbish.”
This post led to comments from several Pokemon Go players who could relate to the OP’s observation, as they wrote: “Nah you’re not crazy. Pretty trash spawns” and “Yeah, it feels a little bit low grade.”
Others added: “Having come back in July last year this is something I’ve noticed and really kills the game for me in the later half of the season” as well as “They are becoming more tragic with each season. It’s even more insulting when you use the daily incense to see more spawns of the same sh*t.”
One player detailed how the spawns get worse as the Season progresses. “This is happening every time. At the beginning of the Season rare Pokémon like dragons, Beldum, Larvitar and others spawn more. Also second and third stage evolution Pokémon spawn. But after a while all the spawns are Zigzagoon ,Castform as in your picture,” they explained.
As a trainer stated, “This game gets worse and worse and worse,” another pointed out that the same happens with events as well:
“Feels the same with events, first day 99% of spawns are event spawns with the exception of nests. But as the event goes on they seem to throw in more & more average spawns into the spawn pool making it harder n harder to grind the event,” they said.
