Creating a Route in Pokemon Go is only half the job done as getting it approved by Niantic is a bigger challenge. However, a player got a ridiculous Route approved in just two minutes and others can’t believe it.

The introduction of the Routes feature in Pokemon Go was met with mixed reactions as many fans couldn’t find any in their location or were unclear on how to create them.

Niantic has since made many updates to the feature, making it more accessible for everyone so that they can collect Zygarde Cells to get Zygarde and the various forms of the Pokemon.

But if there’s something that the Pokemon Go community still doesn’t seem to be happy with, it’s the apparently long and difficult Route approval process of Niantic.

So when a player got a “dumb” Route approved by Niantic in no time, everyone was shocked.

“Dumb” Pokemon Go Route approved by Niantic in two minutes

Reddit user ‘Osloburger1’ shared a post highlighting how a random Route submission got published in the game in a matter of minutes, leaving other users stunned.

Many were in disbelief at how the Route was “dumb” as it was nothing more than “seven laps” in a park. Also, Niantic’s quick approval was surprising, considering that they had multiple Routes pending approval for days.

“That cannot be true…I made 2 routes three days ago now that fit into all of those criteria and they are still under review.”

To this, some even put in that their Routes submitted on dates such as August 13, August 21, or September 12 were yet to get a response from the devs.

A reason why the OP’s submission worked could have been the use of loops in the Route, as a player wrote, “It specifically asks you to confirm you are making a loop when you do so.”

It seems to be easier to create Routes with loops in public parks.

Eagle-eyed users mentioned that the OP’s Route description did the trick as a user put it, “You’re a god for naming it Baby Park and getting the laps accurate.”

Another comment read, “I’ve found the Route description is what makes or breaks them.”

It seems pretty obvious that adding a clear description would make the approval process easier for Niantic as they get a clear picture of what the Route looks like.

So, with the Routes feature being available for Pokemon Go fans level 40 and up, it’s a great time to attempt Route creation with a good description and increase your chances of approval by Niantic.
