Many Pokemon Go players are having difficulties completing a really challenging task for the Master Ball Timed Research, and they have been taking their problems to social media.

Many Pokemon Go players have been experiencing difficulties in completing the new Master Ball Timed Research. The many tasks from this Research have players grinding for long hours, trying to accomplish them before time expires.

This is the second time Pokemon Go released a free Timed Research to earn a Master Ball, but they have ramped up the difficulty this time. One of the tasks seems to be the main issue that has players thinking they won’t make it on time to get the ultimate reward of their own Master Ball.

Players are especially concerned about the “Complete 60 Raids” task on the Master Ball Research, as many of them have little more than 40 days left to complete this task, and have barely managed to complete between six to ten raids so far.

Reddit user Zeukiiii asked the community for their support, as they feel they are unlikely to get their Master Ball. They have complained that there are really few Gyms in their area and very few people to play with.

One player agreed: “I have the same problem. Just no-one to play with when raids are on.” While another answered: “I only do solo one-star raids for this exact reason.”

A comment offered a possible solution for this: “If you’re at a college there are probably a ton of gyms there, can you try during lunch?” But Zeukiiii answered back: “Unfortunately I’m a high schooler, so it’s a dead zone there no spawns or gyms/stops.”

Zeukiiii’s trouble finding points of interest echoes an issue that has been occurring lately with rural players and people trying to add much-needed PokeStops, Routes, and Gyms to their towns. In certain cases, Niantic have been outright denying certain requests to alleviate these problems, which has caused friction with the Pokemon Go Community.
