Drampa has finally made its debut in Pokemon Go alongside its shiny version with the Lunar New Year 2024 event. So, be on the lookout for shiny Drampa during the event.

The Placid Pokemon is headlining 3-Star Raids during the event, but players can also get it after completing certain event-themed Field and Timed Research tasks.

Pokemon Go Lunar New Year 2024 Field & Timed Research

Pokemon Go players can tackle different Field and Timed Research tasks during the Lunar New Year 2024 event.

Those who spin PokeStops during the event will event-exclusive Field Research tasks. Completing these tasks will reward players with encounters with Dratini, Trapinch, Swablu, Gible, Darumaka, Druddigon, Deino, Skrelp, Tyrunt, Goomy, Turtonator, and Drampa. All these species can be shiny in Pokemon Go, so be on the lookout.

On the other hand, for US$2.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), players will be able to access the event-exclusive Timed Research. These tasks will reward players with Stardust, XP, two Lucky Eggs, and encounters with event-themed Pokemon. Trainers need to complete all tasks and claim all rewards before Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 8 PM (local time).

Pokemon Go Lunar New Year 2024 Global Challenge: Dragons Unleashed

A new Global Challenge titled ‘Dragons Unleashed’ is taking place during the Pokemon Go Lunar New Year 2024 event. Players made 1,000,000,000 Nice Throws, so they unlocked special bonuses for the remainder of the event.

Here are all the active bonuses in the Lunar New Year 2024 Global Challenge titled Dragons Unleashed:

  • Evolve Vibrava (Trapinch’s Evolution) to get a Flygon that knows the Charged Attack Earth Power.
