Some Black Ops 4 fans want to see a change to Recon’s Vision Pulse

‘Vision Pulse’ made its debut in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and has become one of the more popular in-game Specialists.

However, Black Ops 4 saw a major adjustment in how Vision Pulse is used, with players needing to bring up a pair of goggles in order to view enemies.

Enemy players now only show up for a brief moment of time while the goggles are in use in BO4, compared to being fully highlighted throughout the duration of the Specialist in BO3.

Yet when enemies are not highlighted in the new version of Vision Pulse, the entire screen turns gray while peering through the goggles.

This can make it tough to see non-highlighted enemies, and some believe it puts Vision Pulse users at a harsh disadvantage.

Reddit user ‘Hyperfolk’ suggested that the best way to combat the disadvantage would be to have the pulsating effect paired with a color screen, much like how it works for Recon’s teammates.

Others have argued against a change to Vision Pulse, stating that the point of such a disadvantage is to ensure balance between Specialists.

At the time of writing, it is unknown if Treyarch plans to make any adjustments to Recon’s Vision Pulse in Black Ops 4.
