Warzone players dropping into Vondel

Warzone saw plenty of changes in the midseason update for Season 2, but players have noticed that popular Kilsltreak from the Verdansk days has been secretly added despite not appearing in the patch notes.

Warzone Season 2 Reloaded is in full swing, and players have wasted no time testing out all of the new additions and changes. The SOA Subverter has established itself as a strong weapon in the meta, while the aiming changes have caused some controversy.

While most of the new arrivals were detailed in the midseason patch notes, a handful of features not mentioned have also found their way into the game, starting with the Soulrender’s ability to perfectly counter Riot Shields.

Now, Warzone players have noticed that a powerful Killstreak from Verdansk has returned, as it started to appear in matches.

Foresight Killstreak returns to Warzone in Season 2 Reloaded

Reddit user ‘Shibeuz’ explained that they had found an “unreleased Killstreak in Vodel” after completing a Scavenger Contract. “It was called Foresight and had an icon of a satellite dish. When used it showed a few [of the] next circles in yellow on the map, similar to completing a Recon Contract,” said the OP.

Long-time Warzone players will remember Foresight from the original game. The Killstreak revealed every circle for the rest of the game, helping anyone who uses it plan their rotations as they approach the endgame.

The OP finding it on Vondel was far from a one-off, as plenty of other fans responded claiming they’d also come across it, or encountered teams that were clearly using Foresight to their advantage.

“Found it twice last night in Vondel. Both from red loot boxes,” said one response, while another added: “There are wayyyyy too many of them. I got one every game we played last night. Maybe 7 games on Vondel. I think a lot of teams had them.”

Although the devs are yet to officially announce Foresight’s return and it’s seemingly limited to Vondel for now, players are more than happy to see it reappear after a long absence.

“Foresight is absolutely goated. Haven’t seen it since Verdansk and the keycard bunker days……good times,” said another happy comment.

It isn’t clear at the time of writing if this was a deliberate decision from the devs or if Foresight has accidentally been rolled out early. However, it appears the team are embracing the glory days of Warzone more and more, with Rebirth Island and the Specialist Perk Package both set to return later in 2024.
