CharlieIntel has been able to verify that there are numerous Battle Royale (BR) references across the PC Beta files in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Activision has not officially confirmed a Battle Royale mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

There has been many rumors about a potential Battle Royale mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare a for a while now.

Reports have stated that Raven Software is set to be the lead developer of the BR mode, and that it may be a standalone mode that’s free to play coming in 2020. Raven Software has been hiring a Community Manager for the studio, which further suggests that they’re working on a standalone project. Beyond this, the Modern Warfare beta loading screen also omits Raven’s logo, while the studio is still credited on working on the project.

As always, we’ll keep you updated.
