Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 was one of the biggest content drops yet, with even more still to come in the Reloaded mid-season update. But beyond that, fans already wondering what Season 4 could bring and a handful of details have already emerged ahead of time.

So, here’s everything we know about MW3 Season 4 so far, including the expected release date and the leaked return of some iconic weapons.

MW3 Season 4 expected release date

Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 is expected to begin on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, although this hasn’t been officially confirmed by the devs. Seasons in Call of Duty tend to last for eight weeks, with a Reloaded update after four weeks, so this lines up after Season 3 kicked off on April 3.

Of course, plans could easily change between now and then, so we’ll update this section with more details once we know more.

MW3 Season 4 weapons leaked

The new weapons for MW3 Season 4 are yet to be revealed, but following the release of the MW3 Season 3 update, dataminers uncovered files mentioning the iconic Kar98k and SPAS-12. Players will remember the Kar98k as the Rifle that dominated the early days of Warzone, while the SPAS-12 was the go-to Shotgun in the original MW2.

The leak didn’t reveal when the classic guns would be added, but given that we already know the full lineup of weapons coming in Season 3, the Season 4 update is the next available opportunity. However, take this with a pinch of salt until it’s confirmed by the devs.
