How to get the Kymera Ray Gun in Fortnite Season 7
Along with UFOs and other alien items, the Kymera Ray Gun is a new weapon for players to use in Fortnite Season 7, and here’s how to get your hands on it.
Fortnite Season 7 has well and truly delivered on its promises to threaten the world with aliens and their sophisticated technology. When they’re not busy abducting players or dumping Cosmic Chests everywhere, the aliens are also busy firing their powerful Kymera Ray Guns.
The good news though, is that if you play your cards right, then you can turn the tables and wield your own Kymera Ray Gun. It’s one of Fortnite Season 7’s many new features – the full extent of which you can check out here – and we’ll show you how to obtain it.
Where is the Kymera Ray Gun in Fortnite Season 7?
Word is spreading around that these alien invaders carry with them personal laser beams known as the Kymera Ray Gun in Fortnite.

We can confirm that this is true! To find one, you will need to locate one of the game’s UFOs scattered around the map. At the beginning of each game, three of Fortnite Season 7’s POIs will be glowing purple.
You’ll need to head to one of these locations and get into a fight with one.
How to obtain the alien’s Kymera Ray Gun in Fortnite
Once you have settled on a destination and found yourself a UFO to lock horns with, you’ll want to let yourself be abducted by one.
Now, concentrate your fire on the area of the UFO that says “Trespasser,” bringing down the pilot in the process. Once it has hit the floor, the pilot will hop out and seek vengeance on you. Simply kill the alien, and they will drop the Kymera Ray Gun that you can pick up.
What does the Kymera Ray Gun do in Fortnite Season 7?
The gun comes in three different forms: Rare, Epic, and Legendary. The differences between the three are not substantial, but the rarer the better of course.

The weapon emits a continuous laser beam that doesn’t deviate, so if you can aim well, then you’ll quite literally laser your opponent.
