Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has seen the arrival of a few new weapons, while some of the older weapons have been removed from the game. So here’s a quick rundown of all the weapons that have been added and vaulted in the new season.

During every new season in Fortnite, Epic Games adds many new weapons for players to explore, while removing some of the older ones from the files. The same has happened in Chapter 5 Season 2 as well.

The developers do this to retain the attention of the players and to keep the meta fresh. Most of these weapons can be found scattered across the island, while the Mythics can only be found by defeating the bosses at some of the new POIs.

The Mythic weapons that you see in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 have their regular variants that can be collected from the loot chests scattered around the island.

All these weapons can be found in different rarities across the island and you will be able to mod them too. Interestingly enough, Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has two new weapon mods in the form of Thermal Scope and Speed Grip.

The Ballistic Shield won’t be a part of Chapter 5 Season 2.
