It’s that time of year yet again as Fortnite have released their annual Halloween update, Fortnitemares.

The update has brought a healthy amount of spooky content for the scary season, including upcoming skins for Mike Myers, Jack Skellington, and new weapons.

As well as the Wood Stake Shotgun, Epic have also introduced a new mythic weapon called the Vampiric Blade, but it takes some skill to earn in-game. If you’re wondering how to get the Vampiric Blade in Fortnite, here’s everything you need to know.

How to get Fortnite Vampiric Blade: Kado Thorne boss location

You can find the Kado Thorne boss who drops the Vampiric Blade in Eclipsed Estates. Follow our step-by-step guide on how to get the Fortnite Vampiric Blade below:

Get into a Fortnite battle royale match.
Land at Eclipsed Estate.
Head into the estate and make your way down the stairs without being seen by the cameras.
Once down the stairs, you should see an open vault door directly opposite.
Destroy the camera and head through the open door.
Here you will find Kado Thorne.
Defeat Kado Thorne.
The boss will drop the Vampiric Blade after you defeat him.

While going through the Eclipsed Estate, you’ll need to destroy a few traps and cameras to prevent being spotted, but it isn’t too hard to get through and down to the boss fight.

The fight is fairly straightforward too, but you’ll want to make sure you have a decent weapon before taking on Kado Thorne. Use cover to protect yourself from being hit too much and then take him out when the opportunity arises.
