How to get Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drop rewards: Merlin’s Cloak, Urchin hat, more
Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drops let players earn exclusive in-game cosmetics, so here’s how to claim your rewards.

Hogwarts Legacy players are free to customize their witch or wizard however they choose, and bonus cosmetics can be unlocked through Twitch Drops. Here’s how to get Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drops and earn free gear.
Hogwarts Legacy lets fans live out their ultimate Harry Potter fantasies, and character creation plays a huge role in immersing them in the world. Players will be able to fully customize their wizard or witch’s appearance, from their facial features to the robes they wear.
New gear can be found around Hogwarts and the surrounding areas, but there are also bonus cosmetics available thanks to exclusive Twitch Drops – including Merlin’s Cloak.
We’ve put together everything you need to know about how to get to Twitch Drops in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to get Twitch Drops for Hogwarts Legacy
In order to receive Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drops you must connect your WB Games account to your Twitch profile, then watch streamers playing the game who have Drops enabled. There are four rewards in total, with a new one unlocked after every 30 minutes of watch time.
This means you’ll have to have a stream open for a total of two hours to claim all four. Don’t worry about doing it all in one sitting though, as Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drops are available from February 4 to February 24.
We’ve provided a step-by-step guide below:
- Head over to the Hogwarts Legacy website.
- Create or sign in to your Warner Bros. Games account.
- Connect your Twitch account.
- Tune in to any streamer playing Hogwarts Legacy with a ‘Drops Enabled’ tag.
- Earn a reward every 30 minutes.
If you’re wondering exactly what the Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drop rewards are, we’ve included them here:
- Silver Dragon-Eyed Spectacles
- Urchin Hat
- Carmine Lightning Bolt Scarf
- Lilac Ensemble
Are you ready to reap the rewards? Four exclusive #HogwartsLegacy in-game cosmetics are available with Twitch Drops from February 7th – 24th. https://t.co/v0KGkKOwIG pic.twitter.com/N8hQERO6yJ

How to get Merlin’s Cloak Twitch Drop in Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy players can also claim Merlin’s Cloak by repeating the same steps and tuning in to one of Avalance Software’s own streams.
The first of these is the Early Access Stream on February 7 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM GMT, followed by the Launch Stream on February 10 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM GMT.
Fans must watch along for at least 20 minutes to earn the Merlin’s Cloak reward, which will then be made available in-game. Unfortunately, once the two broadcasts are complete, there will be no way to unlock Merlin’s Cloak through regular gameplay.
Hogwarts Legacy is expected to receive plenty of post-launch support, so there’s every chance we’ll see even more Twitch Drops later down the line. We’ll be sure to update this page with all the latest rewards.
