One of the Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1 Weekly Quests tasks you with claiming Capture Points on the map, and we’ll go over how you can get this task completed quickly.
A new set of Weekly Quests is available in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1, and one of them requires you to claim Capture Points around the island. If you’re wondering how to get this done then we’ve got you covered.
Where to find Capture Points in Fortnite
The good news is that Capture Points can be found at every named location on the Fortnite map. So, there are a total of nine Capture Points that you can visit spread across the island.
Simply land at any one of them, and you’ll find a pole with banners attached to it that’s surrounded by a circular ring. To make things even easier, you can look at their location marked on the map below, courtesy of Fortnite.GG.
How to claim Capture Points in Fortnite
In order to claim Capture Points in Fortnite, you simply need to stand within its radius for a total of 45 seconds. During this time, you’ll need to keep an eye out for enemy players looking to complete this goal.
Here’s what you need to do to claim Capture Points:
- Hop into Fortnite.
- Land at any named location on the map.
- Quickly collect powerful weapons and shields from your surroundings.
- Make your way to the inside of the Capture Point’s radius.
- Stay within the radius while battling any players that show up until 45 seconds have passed.
Once this is done, the banners will have risen to the top of the pole, and the Capture Point will be claimed. You’ll then be awarded a bunch of loot, and all chests as well as opponents within your radius will be highlighted for 30 seconds.
If you step outside the radius before the timer is up, your progress won’t be reset, and you’ll be able to continue from where you left off. However, if an enemy player arrives within the radius, you’ll need to take them out before the capturing process can resume.
This Weekly Quest has five stages, and you’ll be rewarded for your efforts with 16,000 XP. So, be sure to tackle this challenge along with the other Chapter 4, Season 1 Weekly Quests so that you can quickly level up.
