Fortnite: All Capture Point locations

The good news is that Capture Points can be found at almost every named location on the Fortnite map. There are a total of eleven Capture Points that you can visit across the island.

Simply land at any one of them, and you’ll find a pole with banners that are surrounded by a circular ring. To make things even easier, you can look at their location marked on the map below, courtesy of Fortnite.GG.

There are 11 Capture Points in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4.

The only locations without Capture Points are Mega City and the three newest locations introduced in Season 4: Eclipsed Estate, Relentless Retreat, and Sanguine Suites.

How to claim Capture Points in Fortnite

In order to claim Capture Points in Fortnite, you simply need to stand within its radius for a total of 45 seconds. During this time, you’ll need to keep an eye out for enemy players looking to complete this goal. The time that players need to wait is reduced if they’re claiming Capture Points alongside teammates.

Here’s what you need to do to claim Capture Points in Fortnite:

  1. Hop into Fortnite.
  2. Land at a named location with a Capture Point.
  3. Quickly collect powerful weapons and shields from your surroundings.
  4. Make your way to the inside of the Capture Point’s radius.
  5. Stay within the radius while battling any players that show up until 45 seconds have passed.

Once this is done, the banners will rise to the top of the pole. The Capture Point will be claimed and you’ll then be awarded a bunch of loot. Additionally, all chests as well as opponents within your radius will be marked for 30 seconds.

If you step outside the radius before the timer is up, your progress won’t be reset. You’ll be able to continue from where you left off once you step back into the circle. However, if an enemy player arrives within the radius, you’ll need to take them out before the capturing process can resume.

The Season 4 Weekly Quest requires players to claim five Capture Points, so you’ll probably need to repeat the process on several matches.
