It’s another new era for Fortnite, as the brand-new map that launched with Chapter 4 Season 1 has seen a major update for Season 2, introducing new exciting landing spots alongside new content like new weapons, Eren Yeager from AoT, and a Battle Pass.
As Hot Spots also returned in Chapter 4, there are always going to be good POIs to drop at to get loot, although it’s likely that Hot Spots will be incredibly busy with opponents heading there too.
If you’re looking for a consistent landing spot with plenty of loot, we’ve got you covered. Here’s our guide to the best Fortnite landing spots in Chapter 4, Season 2.
Best Fortnite Landing Spots
Mega City is Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2’s main attraction, featuring a futuristic city-vibe with plenty of large buildings with lots of loot.
This POI is essentially the main hot drop for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, so if you like a hectic but rewarding drop, Mega City is where you’ll want to be heading after dropping out of the bus.
Another new POI to Fortnite in Chapter 4 Season 2, Kenjutsu Crossing is the most southern POI on the map, which is great as it means players don’t have to worry about getting pushed from that side.
As well as this, the POI features a beautiful Japanese theme, with plenty of buildings where you can find an abundance of loot.
Brutal Bastion is another great drop, mostly because it’s the biggest POI on the northeastern side of the map.

This POI has plenty of loot, so it’s a great place to land if you’re playing in a squad. If another team lands with you, just make sure you loot up quickly and gain the high ground either on the buildings or surrounding mountains.
Located on the north-west side of the island, The Citadel has already become a popular drop for Fortnite fans.
Home to both Oathbound characters and chests, there’s plenty to see in this walled fortress. With plenty of loot and tight corridors, this drop is perfect for players who like to get into the action fast.
Slappy Shores may look fairly normal from the sky, but don’t let that put you off landing here. In a small town with a huge factory, there are plenty of buildings filled with loot for you to work through, and it’s rare to leave this location without some decent loot in your inventory.
On top of that, there are quite a few vehicles littered around Slappy Shores too, which makes moving on to your next location even easier.
