One of the new Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Quests tasks you with marking enemies to earn some bonus XP, so let’s go over everything you need to know about how to mark enemies in Fortnite.

When you hop into Fortnite, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to level up quickly in order to unlock new cosmetic skins, and completing Weekly Quests is a great way to earn bonus XP extremely fast.

Week 8 of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 brought a new set of Quests to complete, and one of them requires you to mark enemies in the game. If you’re wondering how to get this done then we’ve got you covered.

How to mark enemies in Fortnite

One way for you to mark enemies in Fortnite is to use the Bloodhound Perk. This Reality Augment ensures that any enemies that get hit by your Marksman Rifle or Bow shots will be briefly marked. This will be easier to do with NPCs around the map than with enemy players.

However, you may have to re-roll before you’re granted this Reality Augment. Another way for you to get this done is by raising a flag in a captured POI. Once the flag has risen, all opponents that are in the area will be automatically marked.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Hop into Fortnite.
  2. Stock up on weapons and healing items.
  3. Go to a Capture Point.
  4. Take down any opposition that you face and interact with the flag.
  5. Defend your position until the flag has fully risen.
Fortnite Capture Points can be found at these locations.

One of the Fortnite Week 8 Quests tasks you with marking five enemies, which can be other players or NPCs. Use any of these two methods to mark your opponents and the Quest will be marked as complete, awarding you 2,400 XP.

Just keep an eye out for enemies that start shooting at you if you decide to capture a POI, as they will attempt to prevent you from raising the flag. Stocking up on weapons and healing items beforehand will make this much easier to complete.
