Exotic weapons in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

Exotic weapons are some of the most powerful and rare weapons in Fortnite, so here are all of the available ones in the game along with their locations in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2.

Fortnite features a wide assortment of weapons to choose from, with the most powerful ones being the extremely rare Exotic weapons that first made their appearance during Chapter 2, Season 5.

This is still the case in Chapter 4 Season 2, even after bringing new content like Reality Augments, map changes, an Attack on Titan collaboration, and new weapons. In fact, right before the 24.30 update lands, a Weekly Quest asks players to eliminate opponents with an Exotic weapon.

Holo-Chests can only be opened with keys.

The main way to get Exotic weapons like the Dragon’s Breath Sniper or the Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle is by opening Holo-Chests. You can see all the Holo-Chest locations in Chapter 4 Season 2 of Fortnite on the map above.

While players usually need one key to get a weapon from Holo-Chests, Exotic weapons require two keys, so be prepared when the time comes. You can get keys by opening chests, eliminating players with keys, buying them from NPCs like CRZ-8, or activating the Keymaster Reality Augment.

Purchase from characters

Serenade is one of the secret characters from Chapter 4 Season 2 of Fortnite that arrived with update 24.20. Players can buy Exotic weapons from her by spending Gold Bars. Serenade is located south of The Citadel, right past the bridge, and can offer players a wide array of Exotic weapons. Be mindful that many players might have the same idea, so it could get hairy.

Exotic Grab Bag Reality Augment

The latest Fortnite update also brought new Reality Augments to the experience, and Exotic Grab Bag is one of the most sought-after. The Augment gives players a random Heisted Exotic weapon on the spot. This means players cannot get the Dragon’s Breath Sniper this way.

Since Reality Augments are completely random, there’s no way to know when you’ll get the chance to use it. You can always spend Gold Bars to re-roll the Augments the game offers you, but it might not be worthwhile.

The Dragon’s Breath Sniper is perfect for igniting enemy structures.
