In a detailed Q&A regarding many facets of the game, the devs addressed the notion of microtransactions. Their answer to the question “Are there micro-transactions in Hogwarts Legacy?” simply replied: “There are no micro-transactions in Hogwarts Legacy.”
Meaning that you will pay the traditional one-off fee to purchase the game, and then all the content for Hogwarts Legacy will be available in the game for players to explore and unlock from the get-go.
Leaks and rumors have suggested that potential Hogwarts Legacy DLC will release much later down the line, so we’ll have to wait and see. For the time being though, fans can rest easy knowing that they won’t be tempted to shell out extra money via microtransactions in Hogwarts Legacy.
