Destiny 2 Find Synthweave Synthcord Synthstrand

The new Armor Synthesis feature in Destiny 2 is one of the most exciting additions to the game thanks to Season of the Splicer, but players will need to find Synthstrand, Synthcord, and Synthweave to use this feature to its full potential.

Season of the Splicer has officially arrived in Destiny 2. It has brought various new things for players to experience, such as various new exotics like the Cryosthesia 77k and a new Override activity.

One of the most discussed additions with the arrival of Season of the Splicer has been the Armor Synthesis feature, the Destiny 2 version of transmog from other games that allows you to change the gear’s appearance while keeping all of its stats and abilities.

However, Guardians will need to know how to find the new items of Synthstrand, Synthcord, and Synthweave to use the new Season of the Splicer Armor Synthesis feature in Destiny 2.

How to find Synthstrand in Destiny 2

The first step of the Armor Synthesis process is to find and use Synthstrand, which can be started once you have unlocked the Armor Synthesis process.

Synthstrand will drop from random enemies in the game once you eliminate them, so you can find this material by just playing the game and taking out enemies.

Once you have acquired the Synthstrand, make your way to Ada-1 and turn it into her to get various bounties. You will then need to complete these bounties to find Synthcord.

Now, when it comes to Synthweave, players will need to take the Synthcord they got from completing the bounties from Ada-1 and take it to the new Loom found in the Tower.

This Loom is where you will transform the Synthcord into Synthweave. Guardians can then take this Synthweave and use it in the Armor Synthesis process to change the appearance of their armor.

There is no doubt that the process to find the Destiny 2 Synthstrand, Synthcord, and Synthweave materials is somewhat of a grind and will make players absolutely sure when choosing what armor they will be changing the appearance of through the new Season of the Splicer feature.
