How to play Genshin Impact Receiver of Friends From Afar event: All rewards

A brand-new cooking event, Receiver of Friends From Afar, is now live in Genshin Impact. If you’re wondering about the specifics of the event, here’s how to play it as well as the rewards. 

Version 4.4 of Genshin Impact is now well underway, as we’ve already entered phase 2, which features Xiao and Yae Miko. Lantern Rite is also nearing its end on February 26, and to wrap up 4.4, we have a new cooking event. 

It isn’t a regular event, as it also has event quests with plenty of familiar faces making an appearance. In case you haven’t figured out the basics of the event, here is a guide explaining how to play as well as the rewards.

How to play Genshin Impact Receiver of Friends From Afar event

In Genshin Impact’s Receiver of Friends From Afar event, you’ll be given a series of QTEs where you have to match the pointer to the marked spots by either pressing or releasing. This is identical to when you regularly cook in the game.

There are three different steps: Prep, Mix, and Cook. When you Prep, you’ll have to press X just as the pointer reaches the spot.

Meanwhile, in the Mix step, you’ll have to hold and then release once the slider reaches the spot. Cook is also more or less the same, clicking when the pointer reaches the spot. 

After you’ve finished cooking, you can either change the plating by clicking on “Swap Ornaments” or just get done with it by pressing “Finished Plating.”

Unlike other events, there aren’t any traditional challenges; all of them are behind a quest, and there are a total of four parts. Only one part is available so far. Here’s the schedule for the remaining three quests: 

• Part 2: February 23, 2024
• Part 3: February 25, 2024
• Part 4: February 27, 2024

Genshin Impact Receiver of Friends From Afar event

Following are the rewards for Genshin Impact Receivers of Friends From Afar events for one single part of the event:

• x45 Primogems
• x60 Primogems
• x40,000 Mora
• x60,000 Mora
• x4 Hero’s Wit
• x6 Weapon Ascension Material
• x1 Recipe

You’ll receive x45 Primogems after you finish each part, and x60 can be claimed from the event menu. In total, you’ll get x420 Primogems from the entire event.
