No, Fallout 76  does not support crossplay, so you can’t hop into a game with your friends if they’re playing on a different platform. Since it’s not cross-gen either, you also can’t play with your friend who has a PlayStation 4 if you own a PlayStation 5.

This may come as disappointing to some players, especially when other multiplayer titles like Fortnite and Apex Legends support crossplay. However, players that acquired the game through Xbox Game Pass are able to play with those who purchased Fallout 76 on Steam.

Is there cross-progression in Fallout 76

Unfortunately, there is no cross-progression in Fallout 76, so players are unable to share their progress across platforms. This means that you’ll lose your progress if you switch from one platform to another when playing Fallout 76.
