Anubis in Palworld

Palworld is loaded with tons of Pals and the likes of Anubis are some of the best for building bases and farming resources. There are many ways to obtain Pals in Palworld, and here’s how to get Anubis by breeding different Pals and its exact spawn location on the map.

Palworld is often called Pokemon with guns but over time, gamers worldwide have realized that the game is a lot more than that. It incorporates several mechanics from prominent titles like Ark and Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Pals are there to help you build bases, farm resources, and explore the gigantic map filled with dungeons and mysteries.

As you progress in Palworld, you’ll be able to unlock stronger and more efficient Pals but of course, catching them is not as simple as throwing a Pal Sphere when they’re low on health. You’ll require the right quality of Pal Spheres to increase your catch rate while going against Pals with lower catch rates or higher difficulty Pals in general.

A must-have Pal in the game is Anubis, and here’s everything you need to know about getting it.

Where does Anubis spawn in Palworld?

Anubis spawns as an Aphla Pal boss at coordinates -130,-96, which is in the deserted Twilight Dunes region located east of the Cove Mineshaft of Palworld. It roams around a large Anubis statue and considering the boss is lv. 47, you should be well-prepared before taking on the fight.

How to beat and catch Anubis in Palworld

Here are the best tips to increase your odds of capturing Anubis in Palworld:

  1. Use a team of your strongest Grass-type Pals as Anubis is a Ground-type Pal.
  2. Avoid having Electric-type Pals as they are weak against Anubis.
  3. Use outfits that protect you from the heat during the day and cold during the night. Also, double-check that you have the highest amount of shield alongside armor that isn’t damaged.
  4. Make the best weapons according to your level and make sure you have enough ammo that lasts the entire fight.
  5. The best Pals to use against Anubis include Mossanda, Warsect, Wumpo Butan, Lylan, Dinossom, and Flopie. If you don’t have these Pals in your team, try using Skill Fruits to teach Grass-type moves to your party members, which should still be enough.
  6. Bring at least 10 Legendary Spheres as the catch rate to get Anubis is minimal even when its health is below 400. Moreover, in the heat of battle, you might miss certain throws.
  7. Carefully observe Anubis’ attacks and make sure to dodge ground attacks like tornado and ground slam as they can one-shot you.
