There are well over 100 different Pals to collect in Palworld, but do they have evolutions like the Pokemon that inspired them? Here’s everything you need to know about whether Pals evolve in Palworld.

Palworld has drawn plenty of comparisons with Pokemon since it arrived on January 19. Players were quick to point out the similarities between the popular series and Palword’s loop of catching Pals using Pal Spheres.

Some have even accused the species in the breakout survival game of looking like well-known Pokemon. But do Pals also have evolutions just like the games that influenced it so heavily?

Do Pals evolve in Palworld?

No, Pals don’t evolve in Palworld. While the Pokemon naturally evolve after they level up in their respective games, often becoming new and more powerful versions of themselves, Pals won’t evolve into new creatures no matter how much you increase their level.

However, increasing their level does come with plenty of benefits, as they’ll become more useful in battle and at completing tasks back at your base over time.

There are no evolutions in Palworld, but you can still improve your Pals.

Can you make new Pals in Palworld?

That being said, you can use Palworld‘s breeding system to create Fusion Pals, which is the closest that Palworld comes to evolutions. Players can breed can different Pals together to create a brand-new creature, featuring enhanced stats and abilities.

For example, breeding a Wompo with any other Grass Pal will create a Wumpo Botan, a Pal with an impressive work rate and deadly skills that are extremely useful in battle.

To start breeding, you’ll need to build a Mixing Farm after unlocking it with Technology Points at Level 19. From here, you can begin experimenting with different combinations.
