Is Palworld coming to PS5 & PS4?
PocketpairPalworld took the world by storm when it arrived on Xbox and PC as it immediately gathered a massive player base. However, PlayStation players were left out of the mix as the survival game skipped Sony’s platform.
With the highly-awaited Sakurajima update on the horizon, many have been wondering whether a PS4 or PS5 release will arrive in the near future. So, here’s everything we know about Palworld on PlayStation consoles.
When is Palworld coming to PlayStation?
There is currently no official release date for Palworld on PlayStation consoles, but the devs have dropped some hints regarding a potential PlayStation port.
The latest one popped up in an X post from Community Manager Bucky, who started the post by placing black, green, and white hearts around the word ‘Palworld.’ This was followed up by the inclusion of two blue hearts around the text, which caused users in the comments to speculate about a PS5 release.
At the time of the early access release, Pocketpair had this to say about a PlayStation port, “We don’t have plans for this [PlayStation release] at the moment, but will consider it during development.”
Palworld has sold more than 12 million copies on Steam and over seven million on Xbox. These figures are already quite impressive and you can imagine that sales on PlayStation would deliver similar results. This alone is reason enough for the devs to consider a PS4 or PS5 port, but there is no official word on this yet.
