Wondering if Stellar Blade has a photo mode? Here’s everything you need to know about the feature in the new action-adventure game.

Stellar Blade is one of the most promising PS5 titles this year as many players are enamored with its art style and gameplay features. However, some would want to capture their gameplay in a frame with the help of a photo mode.

This has left many wondering whether or not Stellar Blade will feature a photo mode, in hopes that they can capture the beauty of the title.

Is there photo mode in Stellar Blade?

Unfortunately, Stellar Blade does not have a photo mode, so players will not be able to directly capture shots in-game. However, taking screenshots is always possible.

This was confirmed by the game’s Director, as in an interview with Japanese game and entertainment site Famitsu, Hyung-Tae Kim made it clear that the developers were focused on polishing the game at the end, and had not developed a photo mode for it.

That said, the director did state that they are open to bringing a photo mode to Stellar Blade if the demand is high enough, but take this with a pinch of salt, as there has been no confirmation or time frame as to when this could happen.

Best settings for screenshots in Stellar Blade

Stellar Blade might not have an inbuilt photo mode but screenshots can definitely take its place. However, to make screenshots as comparable as photo mode captures, you might need to tweak certain settings.

Here are the best settings to tweak for capturing the perfect shot:

  • HUD: Make sure to turn off HUD in the Interface menu to have a clean screen without text.
  • Film Grain: Disabled as the grainy effect might interfere with the game’s natural colors.
  • Chromatic Aberration: Enabled for realism.
  • Flip Camera: You can turn it off completely to have ease of access while choosing the ideal angle.
