Is Forza Motorsport on Xbox One?

Forza Motorsport is available on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Windows Store. But what about older-generation Xbox consoles? Here’s all we know about Forza Motorsport on Xbox One. 

The Forza Motorsport series has always been a technical showpiece for each generation of Microsoft consoles, so much so that some players mistook the game for real life.

Of course, given the ambition and scale, you’ll need the most capable hardware, and it shows in the system requirements for Forza Motorsport. It has even missed out on some fan-favorite modes, like split-screen on launch, to ensure it reaches the set standards. 

So, here is all you need to know about Forza Motorsport’s availability on previous generations of Xbox consoles.  

Is Forza Motorsport available on Xbox One? 

No, Forza Motorsport does not have a native Xbox One port. However, this does not mean you can’t play the game on your Xbox One. 

If you haven’t yet hopped on the current-gen Xbox consoles, you can play Forza Motorsport via Xbox Cloud Gaming. Because the cloud streaming service isn’t available worldwide, players who live in countries where the service is not supported will have no way to play Forza Motorsport on Xbox One.

For Xbox Cloud Gaming, you’ll need an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, which also entitles you to Forza Motorsport since the game is coming on Day 1 on Xbox Game Pass. 

Given that Forza Motorsport is extremely taxing on the hardware front, it is unlikely to be ported to Xbox One. So, cloud gaming is the only available option to play the title on the said console.
