Fortnite leaker ‘Shiina’ shared a video of an alleged “mini event” set to usher in Chapter 5 Season 2. It features Pandora’s Box appearing on the map, seemingly giving way to the Greek mythology theme expected to take over the island.

‘iFireMonkey’ also discovered files mentioning that earthquakes will start to affect the map in the lead up to the event, which will culminate in a large hand bursting from the ground to grab Pandora’s Box and form a new POI.

The leaker has also clarified that “this isn’t an LTM event” like The Big Bang Bang to end Chapter 4, but it will be “more of a smaller event happening on the BR island.”

This suggests that the event that starts Chapter 5 Season 2 won’t receive its own dedicated playlist, but could instead just take place naturally for anyone playing at that time to watch.

Of course, this is all just speculation based on leaks. We’ll be sure to update this page once we know more about the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 live event.
