With Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 coming to an end soon, players are wondering how the current season will end. Considering that Season 1 ended with the Titan’s Hand mini-event, will Season 2 bring something similar? Here’s what we know.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has been stacked, as players have been treated to major crossovers like Avatar: The Last Airbender event and another Star Wars collab. Now, following the Titan’s hand mini-event at the end of Season 1, many are wondering if Season 3 will begin with an event.

Here’s everything we know about whether Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 will end with a live event.

Will Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 start with a live event?

Epic Games haven’t announced a live event to end Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, but leaks have revealed that they may have something planned.

After the 29.40 update went live, dataminers uncovered files that strongly suggest that another mini-event is on the way. Codenamed ‘Superspot,’ it will reportedly ask players to “find and destroy Zeus’s Stormforged Hourglass, and protect mortal kind once and for all,” taking place over four phases.

A small hotfix on April 7 added Zeus’ Stormforged Hourglass to the map as part of a Snapshot Quest, so it appears that Epic Games are starting to lay the groundwork for what’s to come.

During the in-game spectacle, ‘HYPEX‘ also claimed that “lightning craters” would appear around the map as part of the battle against the gods.

Leaks further claim that the statue on Mount Olympus will raise its hand and there will be lightning around the sword. The eyes of the statue are expected to glow red, and there will be sandstorms around it.

All of the files found so far refer to a “mini-event,” which suggests that the event that starts Chapter 5 Season 3 won’t receive its own dedicated playlist, but will instead just take place naturally on the map just like the Titan’s Hand.

Of course, this is all just speculation based on leaks, so take it with a pinch of salt for now. We’ll be sure to update this page once we know more about the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 live event.
