Once Fortnite Chapter 4 concluded, with the much-celebrated OG Challenges, Epic Games decided to usher in the highly anticipated Chapter 5. This huge update introduced numerous new features such as weapons, vehicles, items, consumables, and much more.

Among these new features are also new game modes, like Fortnite Festival where players can form a band and play in the style of Rock Band, hop onto the fastest cars in the Rocket Racing mode, or immerse themselves in the survival-crafting LEGO universe.

How to launch LEGO Fortnite

Launching the LEGO mode in Fortnite is simple, follow these steps to start playing it:

Launch Fortnite on your platform
Once in the Lobby screen, go to the ‘Discover’ tab
Scroll down to the ‘By Epic’ playlist and select LEGO mode

That’s it, you can now jump into the LEGO universe to create your world, invite friends, and play community maps. Epic noted that LEGO Fortnite supports parties of up to eight players, meaning you can invite up to seven friends for a fully enjoyable experience.

On the other hand, if you’re the party leader and disconnect from the world, all your friends will automatically disconnect as well. However, you can grant Key Holder status to your friends so they can load and modify the world as many times as they want without you having to do it.

To do this, simply go to the player tab in the Map menu and select which players you want to grant Key Holder status to.
