Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is finally here as fans around the world bid farewell to the OG Season. There are several new features and changes in Chapter 5 Season 1, and if you’re wondering how to build your Cars in Fortnite, here’s all you need to know.

Chapter 5 Season 1 went live on December 3 in Fortnite, right after Eminem’s Big Bang event, much to the excitement of millions of fans worldwide. The latest season brings a boatload of fresh content like new skins, weapon mods, and items, along with a brand-new map.

Among the sea of new mechanics and changes, you’ll also notice a new section called Cars added to your Locker. This section allows you to build Cars using various items, giving the Sports cars a fresh look in the battle royale.

With that said, here’s how to build Cars in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1.

How to make Cars in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1

In Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, Cars are made using Car Bodies, Decals, and Wheels. These are three new types of Locker items available after the launch of the latest season, allowing you to turn a Sports Car into the one you assembled in your Locker.

The Sports Car will maintain its new look throughout the match, even if you exit your car or a different player enters it. However, you’ll only be able to transform one Sports Car every match.

How to get Rocket League Cars in Fortnite

You can get Rocket League’s Car Bodies in Fortnite by ensuring you’re playing the game with the same Epic Games account you use for Rocket League. Here’s a list of Car Bodies that have made their way into Fortnite from Rocket League:

  • Octane
  • Cyclone
  • Jäger 619
  • Lamborghini Huracán STO

You’ll also have access to a few Decals and Wheels you have in your Rocket League inventory. Additionally, you can also get Scorpion Car Body in Fortnite by reaching level 82 or Page 13 of the Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass.

Bear in mind that the Car Bodies, Decales, and Wheels provide no additional stats or advantages and are just cosmetics for the regular cars in the game.

So there you have it! That’s all you need to know to start making custom Cars in your Fortnite Locker. For more content on Fortnite, be sure to check out the following:
