Fortnite is collaborating with Marvel’s Spider-Man yet again, as not only hasan upcoming Miles Morales skin been teased, but the devs have also dropped a new limited-time event called Web Battles.
Fortnite Web Battles gives players the opportunity to earn free Spider-Verse rewards in-game and getting involved is extremely simple. Follow this guide to sign up for the Fortnite Web Battles and participate in the event to earn these free rewards and don some of the exclusive Spider-Verse cosmetics.

How to get Fortnite Web Battles Spider-Verse cosmetics
To get Fortnite’s free Spider-Verse cosmetics, simply follow these steps:
- Log in to your Epic Games account through the Fortnite Web Battles website.
- Once you log in, you will need to choose a side, either Team 2099 or Team Miles.
- Complete the Daily Battle task and earn points for your team.
- If your team earns enough points, you will be awarded the reward for that Daily Battle.
If you feel you have chosen the wrong team, have no fear, as there’s a chance to change your team under ‘Your Stats,’ but be quick, as there’s a limited time to do so.
Also, keep in mind that you can only earn points in the Battle Royale or Zero Build Fortnite playlists.
Fortnite Web Battles rewards
The Fortnite Web Battles rewards are daily, so we do not yet know what the future rewards are. However, we do have an idea, so here are the type of cosmetic rewards to expect:
- Emoticons
- Sprays
- Pickaxe
Fortnite Web Battles has Daily Battles that present a task. If your team beats the other, you will earn the reward for that Daily Battle. Each Daily Battle is only active for 24 hours, so you will want to get on and make sure you participate to earn each of the rewards.
Day 1’s rewards are Spider-Verse emoticons and depending on the team you have chosen, there will be different rewards.
How to get the Fortnite Spider-Ham’s Mallet Pickaxe
You can earn Fortnite’s Spider-Ham Mallet Pickaxe, which has the built-in Put ‘er There Emote, by earning a total of 40 points over the 5 days that the activity is live.
If you are able to reach 40 points by the end of the Fortnite Web Battles activity, you will earn the Spider-Ham Mallet Pickaxe.
When does Fortnite Web Battles end?
Fortnite Web Battles began on May 18, and will end on May 22, 2023, at 11:59 PM ET / 20:59 PT / 04:59 BST. Make sure you earn as many points and compete in as many Daily Battles as you can to earn all of the rewards before the end.
