Fortnite features a variety of vehicles that players use to move from one location to another but there’s another method of covering distance, and that’s using the Wind Tunnels that can be found in different locations across the map.

The Week 9 challenges are live and one of them will need you to use the Wind Tunnels, but before you can use them, you’ll need to know where to find them.

Here are all the locations where you will find Wind Tunnels in Fortnite.

Wind Tunnels are located at the below-mentioned locations in Fortnite:

  • Gusty Gorge landmark south of Brutal Bastion
  • Windrush Ravine east of Frenzy Fields
  • Wildwind Sanctuary east of Frenzy Fields

Check the map above to spot the locations of the Wind Tunnels that are marked with a blue circle.

To spot them, you should look out for a funnel-shaped flag in the color orange and white. If you have spotted them, it means the tunnels are near.

Wind Tunnels were first introduced in Fortnite’s Chapter 4 Season 1 and they can be used to hide away from your opponents, cover a large distance quickly, and avoid fall damage.

Wind Tunnels are an important part of Week 9 challenges as one of them will require you to travel using them.

Here are the step-by-step instructions for covering distance using the tunnels:

  • You can easily go to either the Brutal Bastion or the Frenzy Fields POI to find a Wind Tunnel.
  • After this, you need to determine which way you will be gliding.
  • You can do so by looking at the direction of the flag so whichever way the flag is moving is where the wind is blowing.
  • Then, hit the forward button to jump into the air current.
  • You will automatically glide and before you leave the tunnel, your glide will deploy on its own providing a secure landing.

It’s a pretty straightforward process to use the Wind Tunnels but make sure to complete the distance of 250 meters to complete the challenge.

Well, that’s all you need to know about the Wind Tunnel locations in Fortnite.
