Fortnite Forecast Towers explained: How to find & use them
Chapter 5 Season 1 is in full swing in Fortnite, and Forecast Towers have stayed as an important element in the battle royale. In case you’re wondering, here is how to find and use Forecast Towers in Fortnite.
Chapter 5 Season 1 arrived in Fortnite to bring a new map full of new POIs, weapons, a packed Battle Pass, and lots of crossovers alongside new features and much more. With new elements that refresh the experience, other features remained from previous seasons, including the Forecast Towers.
These towers provide you with a significant advantage during a match, and they’re part of a new Weekly Quest, so many players are wondering where to find them and how to use them.
Here’s to find and use Forecast Towers in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1.
What are Forecast Towers in Fortnite?
Forecast Towers in Fortnite are structures that let you know where the next Storm Circle is going to be, but they’re guarded by some heavily armed NPCs. If you and your squad manage to defeat them, you’ll earn a keycard that allows you to gather information using the tower’s scanner.
By securing Forecast Towers, you’ll gain a significant advantage over other players, as knowing the direction of the storm allows you to better position yourself for a Victory Royale.
Where to find Forecast Towers in Fortnite
Forecast Towers in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 can be found at four different locations around the map, but only three can appear per match. You need to wait until the second Storm Circle starts to be able to locate them, as they’ll appear with an indicator on your screen and map.
Here are all four locations where Forecast Towers can spawn in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1:
- Northwest of Riviera Station, north of Pleasant Piazza.
- East of Reclaimed Villa, southwest of Pleasant Piazza.
- Southwest of Ruined Reels.
- At Dumpenhausen, south of Reckless Railways.
If you have any trouble spotting Forecast Towers before they appear on your map, we recommend you reach a high point and search for them on the horizon. You can also try doing this when you jump from the battle bus. Since they are tall structures, you can see them flashing red or green from a distance.
Remember that the current season added a new Weekly Quest that requires players to activate three Forecast Towers. This means these locations are extremely busy at the moment. You won’t only have to worry about tough NPCs, but also players looking to grab the keycard before you do.
