How to hire a Fortnite NPC

To hire NPCs in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, you just need to approach and interact with them, and they’ll request up to 250 Gold Bars for their services. You can do it by following these simple steps:

1. Approach the NPC.
2. Interact to begin a dialogue.
3. Select ‘Hire NPC’ on the right side of the dialogue wheel.
4. The NPC will now follow and fight for you. Some might also mark useful items, provide ammo, or heal you during the match.

How to command Fortnite NPCs

Once you hire an NPC in Fortnite, you can give them different commands by holding the middle mouse button on PC or the left button of the D-pad on console.

• Dismiss NPC.
