The Fortnite 25.11 update has arrived, bringing a new weapon and some fresh Reality Augments to Chapter 4 Season 3. Here are the full Fortnite 25.11 patch notes, breaking down everything added in the update.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 is off to a strong start, after completely overhauling the map, adding the unique Kinetic Boomerang, and bringing the long-awaited Transformers crossover. But with Season 4 still off in the distance, Epic Games aren’t letting up.

The developers have been pushing out regular updates to add even more fresh content, such as the Cloak Gauntlets or Nike Airphoria collaboration. Now, the 25.11 update has arrived in-game for players to get stuck into.

Here are the complete Fortnite 25.11 update patch notes, featuring the new Explosive Repeater Rifle and Reality Augments.

Fortnite 25.11 update brings Explosive Repeater Rifle

The marquee addition in the Fortnite 25.11 update is this new Explosive Repeater Rifle, which looks and feels much like the Lever Action Rifle, but fires explosive ammo that deals extra damage on impact. The new weapon can be found as regular ground loot, or from Holo-Chests.

To make way for the Explosive Repeater Rifle, the Heavy Sniper Rifle has been vaulted for the time being. There’s currently no word on whether or not it will return in a future update.

Also, no party’s needed to augment your reality: activate two new Reality Augments with the release of v25.11.

Fire and Repeat: Explosive Repeater Rifle

Fortnite Explosive Repeater Rifle

Live now, the Explosive Repeater Rifle fires rounds that trigger a small explosion on impact 💥 Because of this explosive effect, you don’t have to directly hit your target to deal some damage. Suspect an enemy’s in a bush? After enough attempts at your target, the bush itself can be destroyed by the explosive damage, leaving your opponent out in the open!

To accommodate the entry of the Explosive Repeater Rifle, the Heavy Sniper Rifle has been vaulted. You can find the Explosive Repeater Rifle from the ground, regular and Rare Chests, Holo-Chests, and for sale for Bars from Nia.

New Reality Augments, Heavy Benefits

v25.11 introduces two new Reality Augments fitting for the heavy ammo-using Explosive Repeater Rifle:
