It isn’t a wild assumption that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 will have its fair share of collaboration skins and items. The first collaboration that has been confirmed is none other than with the Transformers franchise, and fans are now excited to play as Optimus Prime.

How to get Optimus Prime skin in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3

Luckily for Fortnite players, the new Transformers collaboration is part of the Chapter 4 Season 3 Battle Pass. So, in order to get the Optimus Prime skin in Fortnite, players need to buy the Battle Pass and reach Level 100 to claim the outfit. The Fortnite Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks. If you don’t have V-Bucks in your account, you can buy 1000 V-Bucks for £6.49 / $7.99 / €7.99.

Keep in mind that it hasn’t been confirmed that Optimus Prime will be the Tier 100 outfit yet, but both Fortnite and Transformers teased that on Twitter.

To reach level 100, you’ll need to play Fortnite to earn XP and get 500 Battle Stars. We have a guide to help you level up fast, but if you don’t have the time, you can also buy levels with V-Bucks. At 150 V-Bucks per level, you’ll need a total of 14,850 V-Bucks to reach level 100 and claim the Optimus Prime outfit.

After leaks and rumors that date back to July 2022, players now have the first official look at Optimus Prime in Fortnite. The Transformers collaboration arrives in Fortnite just in time to celebrate the release of the new movie, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. So, players also expect more Transformers elements in the new map and the Item Shop.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 start date

Fortnite players won’t need to wait long because Chapter 4 Season 3 starts on Friday, June 9, 2023. The official trailer will premiere on the Summer Game Fest opening night to show players a new look at map changes, Battle Pass characters, and more.

Although Season 2 ends on June 9 at 2 AM ET / 11 PM PT / 7 AM BST, players can expect the game to be offline for a few hours before the update goes live.
