July 18 finally brings the annual summer event, with No Sweat bringing special challenges, modes, and cosmetics for players to enjoy. On top of that, there’s another new weapon to wield on the island, as the Overload Shotgun debuts in-game.

With plenty to sink your teeth into, here are the full Fortnite 21.30 patch notes.

Fortnite No Sweat Summer

As always, Epic Games are bringing summer vibes to Fortnite, with 2022 seeing the introduction of the latest in-game event, No Sweat Summer.

Following on from Cosmic Summer and 14 Days of Summer in previous years, No Sweat Summer is set to add Quests with 15,000 XP awards.

Along with that, there are some special summer-themed cosmetics available for the duration of the event.

Ice cream cones

When things get a little too hot on the island, there’s no better way to cool down than with ice cream!

These new consumables will help players recover health when eaten, and also come with additional side effects. The Spicy ice cream cone offers a speed boost, while the Frozen cone will make everything slippy and let you glide around.

Finally, Lil’ Whip’s Special Serve will replenish both your health and Shields, and could be very useful in combat.

Prime Shotgun

If getting up close and personal with enemies is your style, the good news is that Epic have added a brand-new Prime Shotgun to the game.

The Prime Shotgun is available in five rarities (Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic), dealing 79 – 101 damage-per-second depending on rarity.

As always, Epic Games have also dropped a number of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements with the 21.30 patch.

While the devs don’t release a full list, we can use their official Trello board to figure out what’s been changed this week.
