All Fortnite Season 7 map changes & new POIs
Fortnite Season 7 is here, and as always, Epic Games have made some tweaks to the map, revamping some of the existing POIs and giving them new names.
Aliens are the name of the game in Fortnite Season 7, with an “Invasion” taking place across the island. The extra-terrestrials have arrived on the island, along with Rick & Morty, and have brought some new high-tech weapons that are sure to shake up the game.
Of course, a new season means map changes, and while Epic hasn’t made any massive updates to the island, they have made some tweaks to try and keep the game feeling fresh.
You can take a look at all the Fortnite Season 7 map changes below.
Fortnite 17.00 Update map
Believer Beach
The first major change by Epic is to Sweaty Sands, which has received a name change in this update and is now known as Believer Beach.
The area appears to have been taken over by fans of the extra-terrestrials, with murals of aliens painted on walls, and a crop circle-like image drawn on the sand.
Corny Complex
Colossal Crops has also rebranded, and is now known as Corny Complex. Much like Believer Beach, it hasn’t received a massive overhaul, but there has been some tweaks with the new season.
The outer structures look pretty much the same, but inside the buildings, it seems someone is trying to make contact with the alien spaceship that is floating above the island.
Alien Spaceship
After weeks of leaks and teasers, we finally know for sure that aliens have invaded the island. While they don’t have any buildings or POIs on the ground just yet, you won’t need to worry about forgetting them, as a giant spaceship is currently floating above the map.
