The football community has been clamoring for years for EA Sports to release an Online Career Mode. While it won’t be included in EA Sports FC 24, the request has been heard and devs said that the development of an Online Career Mode is a possibility.

EA Sports aims to deliver the best version yet of their flagship game with the release of EA Sports FC 24 in September. A plethora of new features have been announced, showcasing their commitment to providing an exceptional gaming experience.

While EA Sports FC 24 has introduced a multitude of exciting announcements and new features, it seems that the community is still left wanting more. One highly requested feature that has been left off the list is the Online Career Mode. However, the devs have spoken and this is all you need to know about its development.

Devs unveil details about EA Sports FC Online Career Mode development

To the surprise of the community, in an interview with Dexerto, EA Sports FC 24’s Principal Game Designer, Alex Constantinescu, and Game Design Director, Pete O’Donnell, have not only confirmed that they have heard the community’s request but also that the Online Career Mode is something the team is seriously considering.

EA Sports FC 24 will not feature the coveted Online Career Mode.

“It’s something that we’re looking to develop in the future, it takes technology as well as looking deeper into what our community wants,” said Alex. “Resources are limited, we can’t make something that isn’t wanted but we’re looking at getting the most of what people want.”

“We have Pro Clubs which is very competitive, and UT (Ultimate Team) which is quite competitive – sometimes people come to Career Mode for a relax,” O’Donnell explained. “We’re aware that players want different things in different areas.”

Finally, O´Donnell acknowledged the importance of keeping the traditional Career Mode fresh and exciting for players, “We are a single-player mode now, but there are always new experiences,” concluded the dev. “Bringing in [EA SPORTS] FC we want to bring innovation and authenticity.”

A lot of new features are coming to EA Sports FC 24.

While the absence of the highly anticipated Online Career Mode may disappoint some fans, the statements made by devs provide a glimmer of hope. It’s clear that there is an acknowledgment of the demand for such a game mode, and while it may not be available in the upcoming release, there is a possibility for it in the future.
