Does EA Sports have Career Mode?

EA Sports FC will feature Career Mode when it arrives later in 2023, as the devs are looking to keep the core of what made their games so successful despite the rebrand.

This means that players will be able to enjoy an offline Career Mode, along with other staples like Ultimate Team and Pro Clubs, in EA Sports FC.

When the game was first announced back in 2022, the devs said: “Everything you love about our games will be part of EA SPORTS FC – the same great experiences, modes, leagues, tournaments, clubs and athletes will be there. Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Pro Clubs and VOLTA Football will all be there.”

This is great news for players who enjoy the realism of Career Mode as a change of pace from Ultimate Team. In this popular mode, fans can either manage a club and guide them from the lower divisions to Champions League glory, or take control of a single player and fight for a spot in the first team.

While Ultimate Team has overtaken it in recent years when it comes to popularity and support from the developers, Career Mode is still extremely well-loved among the community. So, fans will be extremely relieved to hear that it’s coming back.

Although it has been confirmed that Career Mode will play a part in EA Sports FC, only time will tell if the devs decide to use this opportunity to shake up the formula.

Leaks have hinted that Ultimate Team could be adding players from women’s teams and even removing the Transfer Market, so Career Mode could also receive an overhaul in EA Sports FC.
