As we edge closer to a release date for the title and the game’s official reveal on July 13, the devs have decided to reveal the Ultimate Edition cover, highlighting the players that will feature on the art.

Under EA Sports FC‘s official tweet that revealed the Ultimate Edition cover, players shared their reactions and opinions, with many unimpressed with how some of the stars have been portrayed.

Users mainly pointed out the models of Ronaldinho, Bukayo Saka, and Enzo Fernandez. roasting their appearance compared to real life, clearly feeling as if the models are not realistic.

In reference to the model of Saka, one user said “BRUDDA WHO IS THAT,” while another commented saying that the player’s model “looks more like Rashford.”

One user also asked “who’s this?” with a screenshot of Ronaldinho’s model, as well as questioning why the cover looks “so low-budget.”

Many seem to agree with the low-budget statement, as several comments refer to the graphic quality, with one even asking “is this the mobile version,” while another said: “looks like PS3 graphics are back.”

Despite many roasting some of the character models on the cover, one comment did point out that it’s “frustrating that there are some shockers in there, because there are also some incredible ones like Becks and Heung-Min.” It seems fans are impressed by some of them, but mainly disappointed with the way most of the stars look.

It’s important to keep in mind that these aren’t the in-game models, and perhaps the devs will tweak the models after the backlash, but we’ll have to wait and see. The rumor is that Haaland will be the main cover star, but this is yet to be confirmed.
