Best teams in EA FC 25 – Player ratings leaked
EA SportsJust like in real life, the best teams in EA FC 25 are dominant forces with world-class players all over the pitch.
Picking one of these teams can give you an edge over your opponents, especially in the classic Kick Off mode. These teams will also come equipped with distinct play styles that should feel more effective than ever thanks to FC IQ.
On that note, here are the best teams in EA FC 25 according to leaked ratings from ‘DonkTrading,’ ‘FUT Scoreboard,’ and ‘FUTSheriff’ on X.
Best FC 25 teams leaked
Manchester City
Predictably enough, Manchester City are the best team in EA FC 25. The Cityzens clinched their fourth successive Premier League crown last season and added the FIFA Club World Cup to their silverware cabinet. To recognize their achievement, some significant upgrades have been handed throughout the squad, including a +3 boost to Phil Foden (88 OVR).
Their team sheet has two of the four highest-rated players in the game, Rodri (91 OVR) and Erling Haaland (91 OVR), alongside 90-rated Kevin De Bruyne and 88-rated Bernardo Silva. Needless to say, City will be among the most-picked teams in the Kick Off game mode.
Barcelona Femeni
Barcelona Femeni were already an overpowered side and they’ve only gotten better in EA FC 25. Thanks to a treble-winning season, EA has awarded upgrades to crucial players such as Aitana Bonmati (91 OVR) and Caroline Graham Hansen (90 OVR). Other notable members include Alexia Putellas (90 OVR), Mapi Leon (89 OVR), and Patri Guijarro (88 OVR).
On the pitch, you can expect a masterful rendition of tiki-taka football, with clever runs and passing triangles that can leave the opposition defense exposed. The side also has a loaded bench that you can turn to at any time.
Real Madrid
The kings of Europe lifted yet another UCL crown last year alongside two domestic titles to complete a historic treble. They’ve also bolstered their attack by adding French sensation Kylian Mbappe, kickstarting a new era of Galacticos in the process. In terms of ratings, Mbappe remains at 91 while cover star Jude Bellingham joins the 90-rated club.
A Ballon d’Or-worthy campaign sees Vinicius Jr. climb to 90. Madrid fans will also be pleased to see Antonio Rudiger get a deserved bump to 88. The likes of Thibaut Courtois (89 OVR), Federico Valverde (88 OVR), Luka Modric (86 OVR), and Rodrygo (86 OVR) round out the team.
Liverpool
An underwhelming 23/24 season for the Reds means that there are no major upgrades to talk about besides Alexis Mac Allister (86 OVR). That said, the team remains just as strong with core players including Mo Salah (89 OVR), Virgil van Dijk (89 OVR), and Alisson (89 OVR) keeping their ratings from last year.
On the pitch, Liverpool should function a bit differently to reflect the change in management. So, don’t expect an intense counter-press from the AI. Slot-ball is very demanding in and out of possession, which is why the team should still be fun to use.
Arsenal
Arsenal came agonizingly close to Premier League glory once again last season and have received several upgrades in FC 25 as a result. The highlights include a +2 for Martin Odegaard (89 OVR), +1 for Bukayo Saka (87 OVR), +2 for Declan Rice (87 OVR), and +4 for William Saliba (87 OVR).
For all their exciting options in attack, it’s the Gunners’ back line that makes them a force to be reckoned with. Saliba and Gabriel (86 OVR) make up the most consistent center-back pairing in the league, and they have the athleticism of Ben White (84 OVR) covering the wings. In terms of defensive resolve, Arsenal are up there with the best teams in EA FC 25.
Inter
Italian heavyweights Inter breezed past their rivals to lift the Scudetto last year along with the Supercoppa Italiana. They’ve put together one of the best teams in Europe, spearheaded by Copa American winner Lautaro Martinez (89 OVR). In midfield, Nico Barella (87 OVR) and Hakan Çalhanoğlu (86 OVR) offer balance and attacking threat.
As for the backline, Alessandro Bastoni (87 OVR), Francesco Acerbi (84 OVR), and Benjamin Pavard (84 OVR) are the best defensive trio in Serie A.
Lyon Féminin
While UWCL glory eluded them, Lyon managed to lift their 17th Première Ligue title last year. So, it isn’t a surprise to see them among the best teams in EA FC 25. They’re stacked with world-class players from back to front, beginning with Ada Hegerberg (89 OVR) up top. Other standout names include the rapid Kadidiatou Diani (88 OVR) and Christiane Endler (88 OVR) between the sticks.
Veteran Wendie Renard (88 OVR) forms the base of the defense, with the flair of Selma Bacha (86 OVR) covering the left flank.
Bayern Munich
Despite recruiting heavily last summer, Bayern failed to win the Bundesliga for the first time in over a decade. In fact, the Bavarians were unable to capture a single trophy, ending an era of domestic dominance. Nevertheless, their side features some of the best players in Europe including Harry Kane (90 OVR, Jamal Musiala (87 OVR), Joshua Kimmich (86 OVR), and Manuel Neuer (86 OVR).
While there are plenty of exciting options in attack, the club lacks defensive solidity which could make players reconsider selecting them.
Barcelona
In terms of ratings, it’s a largely unchanged Barcelona team in EA FC 25 except for a -2 handed to Robert Lewandowski (90 OVR). While this Blaugrana side can’t match up to their bitter rivals, Real Madrid, on paper, there’s no shortage of world-class players. For intricate plays in midfield, you’ll have Frenkie de Jong (87 OVR) and Pedri (86 OVR), with Ronald Araujo (85 OVR) and Jules Kounde (85 OVR) providing solidity at the back.
A freshly upgraded Lamine Yamal (81 OVR) is reason enough to test the team for yourself when the game launches.
Chelsea Women
The Emma Hayes era ended in style as Chelsea lifted their fifth consecutive WSL honor during the 23/24 season. They fell short of Barcelona in Europe once again, which is probably why there aren’t multiple ratings upgrades. The Blues are still one of the best teams in EA FC 25 regardless, thanks to highly-rated players such as Sam Kerr (90 OVR) and Guro Reiten (88 OVR).
A well-earned +3 upgrade for Lauren James is nice to see, and the backline remains solid as ever with Millie Bright (85 OVR) and Ashley Lawrence (85 OVR).
As mentioned earlier, our list is based on leaked ratings and is subject to change until the game’s release. So, take these ratings with a pinch of salt.
We’ll be sure to update this article once the official stats are out. Until then, check out other leaked EA FC 25 ratings and the biggest upgrades and downgrades so far.
