EA FC 24 arrives on September 29, but players are wondering if they will be able to try before they buy with a free demo. Here’s everything we know so far about an EA FC 24 demo.

When EA Sports FC makes its debut later this year, it will mark the beginning of a new era of football games. Although the rebranded title is bringing back popular modes like Ultimate Team and Career Mode, fans will be hoping that it recaptures the magic that made the FIFA series so successful.

Select players had the opportunity to drop in early through the closed beta, but those who didn’t make the cut will be hoping that an EA FC 24 demo is released before launch to let them sample the game early.

So, will there be an EA FC 24 demo? Here’s everything we know.

Will EA FC 24 get a demo?

The devs haven’t announced whether or not an EA FC 24 demo is planned, but based on previous years we don’t expect one to be released.

At one time, every new FIFA game received a demo in the weeks before launch, but the devs ended this tradition with FIFA 21. Then, FIFA 22 and FIFA 23 were also released with no trial version, other than the closed betas which only a handful of players could access.

With this in mind, we expect EA FC 24 to follow suit and skip the demo once again. However, as EA FC 24 is the first game under a new name, the publisher could decide to break the trend and release a demo to reassure skeptical players that this is still the game they’ve been enjoying for years.

An EA FC 24 demo would let players try out the new gameplay features.

In the past, FIFA demos would feature a handful of teams with updated squads and allow players to try out Kick-Off mode matches. This would give them a feel for the game ahead of launch and let them test out new gameplay features.

While they’ve mostly become a thing of the past, we can’t rule out an EA FC 24 demo to try and keep players on board who might be considering skipping this year’s release after the name change.
