Diablo 4 Druid

Avid Diablo 4 fans are grinding through Sanctuary’s map to be prepared for the launch of Season 1. While preparing for these new challenges, one streamer broke the record for the hit with the highest damage ever recorded in Diablo 4. Here’s what Diablo 4 Druid build he used to achieve this feat.

Diablo 4 Season of the Malignant has every player excited about its new challenges. While some are trying to finish the main campaign to be able to play Season 1, others are just grinding to reach the level cap.

This was the case for Diablo 4 streamer Moxsy, who inadvertently hit the highest damage ever done in the game, dealing a 1.8 billion hit with his Druid werewolf.

Since then, checking who can deal the most damage has become a challenge for Diablo 4 streamers. YouTuber Echohack posted on Twitter a screenshot showing that his MaxRoll teammate, IBoilerUp, also achieved an incredible 2.1 billion hit.

Up until now, Moxsy has been the one who revealed the secret behind his grotesque damage-dealing build. Here’s what you need to know about the “Lightning Shred 2.0” Druid build he used in Diablo 4.

Diablo 4: How to build “Lightning Shred 2.0″ Druid

Diablo 4 streamer Moxsy explained in detail what players need for the “Lightning Shred 2.0” Druid. This Diablo 4 Druid build allows you to ramp up damage while killing enemies and stacking the effects of Critical Strikes. As Moxsy describes it, his Druid technique revolves around a “double dip interaction” which can only be achieved by a few key items and Aspects.

  • Stormclaw’s Amulet (Imprinted with Stormclaw Aspect): While using the Shred skill, Critical Strikes deal 45% of Lightning damage to the target and surrounding enemies. What Moxsy calls “double dipping” is multiplying all the damage multipliers multiple times, thanks to the abilities of Stormclaw’s Amulet.
  • Dire Wolf’s Honored Relic (Imprinted with Dire Wolf’s Aspect): This item will allow Druids to shapeshift into a Dire Werewolf, and grants them 46% of Spirit cost reduction when upgraded to the max. It also grants players 23% Movement Speed. This Relic is important to spam the Shred skill without limit, and it will also heal players as they kill enemies.
  • Circle of the Rampaging Werebeast (Imprinted with Rampaging Werebeast): It’s important to extend the duration of the Grizzly Rage skill, which is going to give players more Critical Strikes. This item increases Grizzly Rage by 5 seconds and also increases the damage of Critical Strikes. This will allow Druids to stack and multiply damage as long as Grizzly Rage is active.
  • Waxing Gibbous: This is the final touch for dealing an incredible amount of damage. When Waxing Gibbous is equipped, it will give players Stealth for two seconds when killing enemies with the Shred skill. When breaking Stealth with an attack, it grants an Ambush bonus and makes enemies vulnerable, which also guarantees Critical Strikes for 2.1 seconds when upgraded to the max.

Diablo 4: Where to get Aspects for”Lightning Shred 2.0″ Druid build?

You can get the Aspects for the Lightning Shred 2.0 build to attach to your gear from random loot items or when completing dungeons scattered in Diablo 4’s map. Finishing a dungeon grants access to different Aspects that can be seen in the Codex of Power menu.

You’ll find the Stormclaw Aspect after finishing Anica’s Claim dungeon, inside Malnok (one of Fractured Peaks Strongholds). The Rampaging Werebeast Aspect can also be found in the Endless Gates dungeon in Hawezar region. Sadly, the Dire Wolf Aspect in Diablo 4 can only be obtained via random loot and then extracting it with the help of the Occultist.
